Michelle Thorne earned BBC recognition the same year she tried out for The X Factor

In August 2005, the BBC described Michelle Thorne as one of the most recognisable figures in British pornography and among its leading actresses. That same year, she stepped onto a very different stage, taking part as a singing contestant in series two’s second episode of The X Factor.

Michelle Thorne’s own label, Bombchelle Productions, put out its first hard media release in 2013 with “Michelle Thorne XXXposed”, a three-hour, all-sex film she both produced and directed across ten full-length scenes. The following year brought “Pushing Boundaries”, eight full-length scenes and three hours of footage billed as a series of on-camera firsts for her, again directed by Thorne herself.

She has said that owning her own production company meant choosing which scenes to shoot and with whom, and that some scenes on “Pushing Boundaries” ran longer than planned because she was enjoying herself so much that filming simply continued.

A 2018 chauffeur role arrived the same year SHAFTA nominated her for “Best MILF” and “Best Scene”

In 2018, VRP Films released “The Chauffeur”, a half-hour POV scene in which Thorne plays a chauffeur newly hired by a rich man, much to his wife’s displeasure. That same year, the SHAFTA 2018 nominations named her in the “Best MILF” category alongside Lacey Starr, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Rebecca More and Jess Scotland, and again in the “Best Scene” category, paired with Candi Kayne and Max Deeds for “Between the Scenes”.

In March 2019, Thorne was part of the cast filling out “Double D-Tension 3”, a Brazzers DVD headlined by Brooklyn Chase, alongside Ariella Ferrera, Anastasia Hart, Romi Rain and Courtney Taylor.
